What a rip for $17.98. Live and learn.

I was looking for extra bullets for the N-Strike Recon CS-6 that my boyfriend had won at a Yankee Swap. I thought the suction darts would be extra fun, and it says right in the description that it fit the gun he has. WRONG! They jammed & wouldn't fire. Not a huge deal, since I returned them with no hassle, but then the fun of opening & playing with a gift right away was gone, which was a bummer.

While reading the reviews, I noticed that this happened with another model that Amazon has listed as well. My advice -- buyer beware & double-check with Hasbro on which guns will really take this ammo.

"Garage needs to be Condemned"

Add mine to the list of those that hate this garage. The car is cute but the garage needs to be condemned. Worse yet? My three year old wants to send back the whole Zhu Zhu lot to Santa (after playing with them only a few times) because she said they are "too breakable".

The thing does just fall apart and now I regret having scolded her for constantly "taking the garage apart", I thought she was deconstructing it, but now I know the darned thing wouldn't stay together if we tried! Tape and super glue? Good idea, but at the price we pay for these things, we shouldn't HAVE to rebuild them. The entire Zhu Zhu lot is now in a closet. What a waste.

"Flimsy!"

Wow, what a cute concept constructed cheaply! My girls (3 and 6) love their Zhu Zhu pets - they have a complete play set. I chose to review the garage, because although ALL the Zhu Zhu components are very flimsy, the garage is probably the worst. The pieces keep coming apart (especially the doors) if you attempt to move them or even touch them.

It doesn't stand up well to kids' play, unless they sit back and watch the hamsters and don't interact with the toy, which is hard to do when the hamsters keep getting stuck in the playset!

The kids love it, which is the important part; I would have preferred a more durable toy.

"5 Minutes of fun"

As with all things Zhu Zhu, the construction of this piece is just awful. The plastic is very flimsy and if you wave your hands real hard I swear you would generate enough wind to knock this thing over. It's a shame that such an imaginative toy has been manufactured to dollar bill specifications. The Hamsters themselves are cute enough, but the accessories are really over priced rip offs with horrible reliability.

Just read through the other reviews and I'm very surprised with all the negative comments regarding this garage! I happen to think this is one of the best accessories for the fun house..!

Want to give a couple recommendations though for those who have problems with the garage staying together / not going anywhere. First, yes, the garage is extremely flimsy and will not stay together. It falls apart at the slightest move (or heck, when the zhu-zhu went through the doors it would fall apart!). How to fix? Simple, hot glue. It takes literally 30 seconds to hot glue the garage at all 4 snaps and it fixes your problem. The garage stays put.. the doors stay put and that is that - no more of it falling. Should you have to do this? Well, no, but its an extremely easy fix that is a solution to the problem.

Second issue.. how to get the car to go. When you put the car in the garage - do NOT push it all the way back! When you do this, you'll notice the car goes over a slight bump of some sort.. the zhu-zhu has problems getting on the car and wont go very far. Instead, put the car on the very edge of the garage, where the bumper is touching the doors when they are closed - all 3 of our zhu-zhus can "drive" this car just fine when it is like this (and, on carpet.. we have it upstairs on our carpet.. all 3 zhu-zhus have no problem going on our carpet!) - So there is a the solution for that issue.

When you do these things.. then it makes the garage one of the cutest accessories out there.. it is incredibly cute when the zhu-zhu goes down the ramp, into the garage and up the car and just "drives" it out! The zhu-zhu will stay on the car and just drive it around until you take it out of the car. We really do love this accessory.. quite entertaining (and the cats love it too!)

"I am surprised to see it's a hit for 4-year & 9-year-old nieces"

I heard of these toys from a friend but didn't really think much about it. A little mechanical hamster that runs around and makes some noise, nah.... that's what I thought and I said to myself that I would never buy such a toy for my kids. Then I intended to buy some play doh or coloring books for my nieces who will visit us, and I saw these little guys on the shelf. I asked a sale's person, and he explained to me why this is popular and fun with kids, and somehow he convinced me that this would make a fun toy for 4 and 9 years old girls. So I decided to go for it.

Well, my nieces were very happy to hold them in their hands, find a small box to put them in with dish towel over them as a blanket, and then carry the box all around the house. And they even built a little house and entry way with magna tiles (which is my favorite toy anyway) to sleep in or hide in. I could see them nurturing and caring of a pet.

I realized that when you're a little kid, it is just great to have a toy that makes a little sound and scoot around in the living room, and just right size to hold it in your small hands... They might get bored of it having them for 6 months. But for the moment, this hamster is the best thing ever for my nieces. Great invention that has brought lots of smiles to my nieces. And also pure luck being at a store when they have them.

Personally, I'm not reviewing this for the price. I'm simply reviewing a toy based on what reaction I've received after giving them to 2 preteen girls.

"Cute toy"

My 3.5 years old daugther saw this on tv during our Thanksgiving vacation and has been asking for it since. Found them at CVS for $9.99 a week before Christmas. I have to say it is quite cute. I also got her the carrying bag and she enjoys carrying it around more than letting it run around. The bag is made really small to fit the pet tight so she has trouble putting the hamster in it. She tore up the box and we threw away the user's guide so we are still trying to figure out how it works. I don't expect this toy to last too long based on it's price, but for now it's worth it.

My daughter recieved the pink zhu zhu hamster for Christmas and totally adores it! We enjoy how it zips around, makes little noises and unlike a real hamster we can shut it off and not clean up after it. She is 8 and finds it rather amusing, we are planning on getting her the accessories for her birthday and another hamster. My daughter loves animals! and finds joy in toys like her zhu zhu hamster. I would recommend this toy to others, I just wouldnt pay more then the original asking price of 9.00 - 9.99

"Very Cute But Doesn't Last"

I purchased, "Jilly" for my daughter for Christmas. I was so excited to see they had a pink one! She received it on Christmas Eve and it worked great. It was so cute! She didn't play with it much yesterday since we were out and about. However, today she pulled it out and it worked for about five minutes. Then she brought it to me...no sound and it would not move. I naturally replaced the batteries...nothing. I then took the whole thing apart. I was able to get the sound to work when the nose (which fell out incidentally)is pushed. However, the buttons on the top no longer work at all and the wheels no longer turn. I have read multiple reviews on Toys R Us.com that complain about this very same problem! This is such a shame. I know these things are cheap, but do they really have to stop working after only a full day of play? My daughter is so disappointed and so am I. I will be calling the company on Monday...keeping my fingers crossed that they will send me a replacement as these are impossible to find now.

They are silly, yes. But they are so fun and not to mention adorable. We have had ours for about 3 months and we have had no problems with the durability. I wish people would stop giving the toys bad reviews because they are mad about the mark-up (which does suck) because these toys are fun! I have just as much fun with them as my three year old son,and 10 year old niece! We barely use the accessories though, they were sort of a waste of money. My kiddo just lets his run all around the floor, and sometimes the hamster ball. The other stuff just collects dust.

"O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D"

My 3-1/2 year old, like most kids, HAD to have this. Santa brought her four hampsters and almost all the play house add ons. This one was the second biggest disappointment (next to the car with garage). The hampster will run in the wheel about once every ten times, and even then just does it momentarily before heading back down the tunnel. Before New Year's even hit, my daughter collected up the entire lot and said, "here, mom, send these back. They're too breakable and not fun to play with". Too breakable? Even a three year old recognizes poor quality! This is a kid that plays for hours with cardboard boxes, sticks, wooden spoons, etc. And she wanted to send them back to Santa after only a few days? This will go down on my list as one of those "cave into peer pressure then regret it later" purchases. Save your money.

We have the wheel for the zhu-zhus.. and I'm seeing a lot of comments that the wheel doesnt spin freely - well, ours sure does! All three of our zhu-zhus can run in the wheel freely, and it spins just fine here! Perhaps for some it wasnt put together properly? Not sure there.. but we bought a wheel that works just fine!

And, this add on accessory happens to be one of the more sturdy ones - we have never had a problem with this particular accessory falling apart or coming undone.. it stays put! The hamster does not get stuck in the tunnel here.. but, you do have to help the zhu-zhu back into the tunnel (just by pushing its nose, redirecting it to go back into the tunnel) when he is "done" exercising ("done" defined when you are done seeing him run in the wheel!) - So, it would be nice if the zhu-zhu would go back into the tunnel after entering the wheel by itself.. but it doesnt. Nevertheless, this accessory gets a 5 stars b/c it is a lot of fun, stays together, and for us the wheel does spin freely.. and man do those zhu-zhus love a good workout!

Really it is what it is, a plastic play wheel TOY for the Zhu zhu pet hamsters.
While it is not overly durable and the hamsters can get "stuck from time to time, it is a cute accessory for the hamsters.
I did think some of the tubes were kind of hard to snap together, once together firmly I do not fear it will fall apart easily.
Just don't have very high expectations for it.

After helping my sister round up Zhu Zhu pet everything for her daughter for Christmas, we ended up with enough stuff to also give my three year old her own set of two hamsters, a fun house, the wheel and the car/garage. The hamsters are cute and my daughter loves the whole set, but the tunnels and accessories are SO flimsy they are about equal in quality to the toys you find at the dollar store. The wheel is especially problematic. The connectors detach constantly and needs to be reassembled. Plus the hamsters cannot get out of the tunnel on their own. On our set the wheel spins well, but then the hamsters get stuck and cannot back out of it, so they need to be fished out (which is harder than it sounds and often leads to the connectors detaching again). The hamsters often fall over on their side in this too. Al in all my this toy is cute, but really, really poorly made. I am SO glad that I got everything from Toys R Us for the SRP and didn't overpay or I would be beyond disappointed!

"The ramp is cute!"

This is our second favorite add on accessory to the zhu-zhu fun house! It is a lot of fun to see the zhu-zhus go up the ramp, come down and keep on going! It is also very sturdy - we havent had to do any modifications on the ramp b/c it is built pretty good.. stays together, doesnt come apart or anything.

Someone mentioned that they had problems with the zhu-zhus getting stuck in the ramp.. let them go! They get "stuck" all the time, its on purpose..! Often times they'll get to the very top, stick their nose out and make little sounds for about 10 seconds or so, and come right back down the ramp and try it again! Its kinda cute.. it does this often - it'll stop going up the ramp for a few seconds, and either continue on or go sliding right on back down. We have never had any problems with the zhu-zhu becoming permanently stuck (well, unless you count two of the zhu-zhus trying to go up the ramp at the same time, then yeah.. these things dont share very good, do they?!)

Anyways, excellent add on accessory, I do recommend it!

This was the first accessory I bought after reading the instructions on how to put it together (especially the plastic legs) it was great. But like the other reviews the little hamster does get stuck when going up. But he backs down and then is able to go up. Going down is no problem. My daughter still loves it.

What kid didn't want the Zhu Zhu pets and all the accessories this Christmas? So Santa made sure that the pets and the accessories, including this ramp, were under the tree Christmas morning. What a surprise to find that this falls apart with any slight touch or movement by my 2 kids. The hamsters get stuck on the ramp and this is very irritating too. I am taking this and the other pieces that Santa brought back to where they came from and getting my money back! Save your time and money and look for something else.

"Unbelievably Entertaining..." 2009-12-10

I've been running a daycare for 18 years, and while this is a fulfilling job (I'm told), it tends to get boring after year two. Then I purchased the Speedy Diner Game, and life suddenly became worthwhile and fun!

This toy is best combined with any Gordon Ramsay DVD. I sit the kids down to watch the DVD first, then bring out the game. I also tinkered with the timer so the kids have half the allowed time to prepare and deliver their food. Oh, and I am ALWAYS the customer. The very loud, demanding customer. I also taught my pet parrot Bunkotillo to scream "BUGS IN THE KITCHEN" at 30-second intervals which brought new meaning to the word "frenetic".

If you are a dedicated childcare professional, you will take the extra time to collect real bugs to add to the authenticity of the game. I keep cockroaches in a jar hidden in my purse, and let them out just before my meal arrives.

They were SO right when they said this game serves up big laughs. Just picture adorable little kitchen tyrants shoving food at stressed-out waiters who are screaming and slapping roaches off their little aprons. Kids can just be SO funny!

This game is very weak in both the educational and fun aspects.
Speaking to the spelling component, for the entire game, each player only spells one word, so the max number of words you can learn to spell is the number of players in the game.
The honey bee facts are kind of cool, but the annoying part about them is that some of the facts don't make any sense because they depend on other facts that may or may not have been revealed yet.
The fun factor is low because there are long boring stretches where nothing happens. Draw a card, move some spaces, do nothing. Your turn. Repeat.
The game is pure luck and while that can be fun in some well designed games, this game allows one player to easily get ahead with no chance of the other players catching up, which leads to devastating losses.
Finally the game storage is annoying because the two types of cards don't have separate compartments so they have to be resorted every time.

We received this as a gift for Christmas 2009. The first one we had seemed alot of fun except the on/off switch was a little flaky in that when you let off of it, the game would shut off on its own. We emailed support and received another unit from the company which gave us great customer support. However, we have had the new unit for a little over a week and it is now experiencing the random resets I see reported by others. It is a fun game for both the kids and adults. But nothing is more frustrating than playing for a few minutes and having to start over. I just think they need some better quality control or something. I will try to get a third unit but am expecting more of the same. Too bad.

Considering that this game is the junior version - its a little difficult to deal with the "steal" and "free". No write up information about the steal or free is given online or on the box and the game uses these a lot. We bought this game thinking it was just name things in a category and press the button with that letter. We were surprised about the steal and free, which makes the directions that much harder for a family sharing the game. We also have a problem with the game resetting - I don't know if we bump it or run out of time or what. The fact that you have to push the button to start each person's turn within say 15 seconds when you are playing with 4 kids is a tad stressful since the game shuts off if you don't push the button on time - this means everyone loses. We find playing a one person game works the best - we play whoever clears the last letter wins. Great concept but wish it were geared toward the "jr" end since it is called "jr".

This game links the family together! I have to be honest and say that my family usually hates games, and I'm the only one who wants to play them. I bought this game for my 9 yr old son for Christmas this year and thought it sounded like a fun game for Family Game Night. It also was the only one left on the shelf and I took that as a good sign of its popularity. After playing with the kids I have to say that it is a very cute game that younger ones can play and parents will have a good time with as well. It does keep you on your toes when trying to think of answers with the timer ticking down....very much like Scattergories. The categories are good, a lot of freebie type categories like street names, etc. but that just makes it easy for anyone to get an answer.

The only issues I can see are the steal coming on when you first turn on the game, (strange, since there is no one to steal from) but you just shut it off and turn back on. Also, we were sitting on the floor and when sliding to the next person it lightly bumped the leg of the coffee table and reset so we had to start over which is a little frustrating.

Other than that I have to say that it is a really fun game to play, we all enjoyed it. It's very hard to find a game that we can play as a family that keeps everyone interested. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, family game. I also just found out there was an adult version which I intend to buy for a change of pace from playing Scattergories....

Great Value, High Quality, Makes a Great Gift

This Lego set is one of the best values we've ever gotten with a lego set. The beach house is beautiful - it reminds me of real A-frame houses I used to live near in Hawaii. My 9-year-old daughter had no problem putting it together and she enjoyed the process. In addition, this Creator set contains 3 full sets of instructions to create different buildings so it is more interesting than typical sets that have only one design.

If you haven't bought legos since you were a kid, they are different now. Typically the set is a detailed model, with step-by-step instructions how to build it. This is great - the sets are more intricate and interesting than they were 20 years ago. However, usually once your kid builds the set design, it just sits there. It is a fun process for them to build it, but I've seen less "free building" from kids today using legos.

This set is different - it has three different designs so it has a lot of "playability." The pieces are also very versatile for free building, so it is the best of both worlds. The set is also much more affordable than other sets that cost upwards of $100 (and above). I would highly recommend this as a gift for any birthday party- fun for both girls and boys.

This is a GREAT toy. My daughter is 23 months and loves playing with this toy. It's great that it's in the kitchen too so I can cook or clean while she plays. She has pulled it off the fridge and banged it a few times and it still works great. I love that she is learning the alphabet so early. She now recognizes letters and points them out to me. We had foam letters for the tub too, but this is the best and most fun. We love Leap Frog!

This is an amazing product. My mother purchased it for my 1 year old at Christmas, and even though she doesn't understand it yet on an educational level, it works on her motor skills because she has to pick the letters off of the fridge and put them correctly in the spot for them. She then gets the reward of listening to it sing to her. My four year old daughter will sit in front of the refrigerator for what seems like forever and just arrange the letters in order while she sings the alphabet song along with the toy. My oldest daughter who is six will sometimes even go to the magnets when she is stuck on a reading word and I tell her to sound it out. Lastly, every child that comes to our house is drawn to the magnets. They all love it, and so do I !

this is a game that is a lot of fun and is easy to get into. Simple rules, simple scoring, easy to learn and the game never loses its luster with repeated playings. I have been playing this game regularly for six months and it is still the first game we play whenever any one comes over. We just bought Five Crowns, (mostly because of good reviews on this site) and we were not disappointed. My husband and I have fun playing with our kids (9 and 13) and the kids like to play with friends. I've played it with my daughter and her 2 friends and they love it when they "go out" before me. Everyone has a chance to succeed as each hand starts all over (with a higher number of cards). I like to give our children "thinking" games and while this game depends a lot on the cards you draw, what you do with them involvs some thought. The goal is to draw and discard cards to build runs and sets. As the number of cards in your hand changes the wild card changes too, and you have to pay attention not to discard it by mistake! It takes the 4 of us about 45 minutes to play, just the right amount of time for a game after dinner (we don't watch TV). We've played it almost everyday since we received it.

Highly addictive game because there are no turns, just every body whaling away at once. Trying to match up these shapes and colors becomes maddening after awhile. It is quite easy to get lost and see no matches what so ever and all of a sudden your brain will just click and you will be seeing sets everywhere. This is a very simple game to learn and very hard to master. First time players will get frustrated very easily if they are playing with SET veterans. The idea is to match any three cards on the table by having all of the card's characteristics being all the same or all different. Your spatial reasoning will get a real work out as you play through the deck the number of times equal to the number of players. Points are scored for each successful set and points are lost for incorrectly picking a set(which happens alot when everyone is in a hurry to find the next set.). A great great game that is loads of fun but a real mental workout.

This game is the best invention since chess, if you want to improve your child's thinking ability! When I taught gifted students in grades 2-8, they would beg to play it. Kids would say over and over, "It''s hard, but it's fun". I read that it is an activity where the right brain and the left brain work together. The best thing about it is that it is not dependent on age or reading ability. There are 6 year olds who could beat me, and there are adults I can beat. A group of all ages can play together competitively, and no one has to hold back. Also, it is very light and portable for travel, or for just having handy if people are bored.. I take the cards out of the case, put a rubber band around them, and put them in my bag.

This educational game is extremely fun. Of the 7 members of our family - 5 of us play very often. We even invite company over to play! Our youngest who is 6 enjoys this game and can beat mom at 40! The other 5 children also are extremely fond of the game. The only problem that we have encountered is that sometimes 2 or more people yell "SET" at the same time. We have solved that proplem by incorporating a bell from a different game set next to the 12 cards to ring instead of yelling "SET". This works very well for our family! The best thing about this game is that it is extremely fun for all age groups! We can get quite competitive and play it over and over again.

I got these for my 14 year old son for his birthday and he absolutely loves them! He enjoys making all types of shapes, spheres, squares...they have opposite poles so he has to figure out how they go together. It comes with 216 magnets which sound like a lot, but they are tiny. The only complaint my son has is that he wants more of them. I would suggest buying 2 or more sets or a larger set.

I have a set myself that I received as a gift. At first glance they don't seem very impressive...it's a bunch of silver balls in a jar. But then you dump them out and try to pull one off. They are incredibly strong, one ball has enough magnetic energy to hold the rest of the clump.

You can separate them into strands, combine them into form. Since they are balls sometimes they roll and snap into unexpected configurations.

The previous reviewer is right about one thing, don't pay more than $24.99. That's what the price is multiple places on the net.

WARNING: Be carefull around electronics, they are powerful magnets that could damage your computer, tv, watches and other things. Each ball is very small, maybe 1/8 of an inch across and easily swalled individually or in small clumps. The package says not to play with them if you have a pacemaker. Oh and don't take them to work, you will find yourself playing with them instead of doing your reports (Or so I've heard, mine are at home).

These are the coolest magnetic balls. They are incredibly strong. One ball can hold the weight of the entire 216 ball set. They are great to pass the time and come up with new patterns.

They are polarized (they have a positive and negative) so manipulating them into shapes can take a gentle hand and patience as you work them to rotate around.

I love making the cube but it takes a little practice.

They are a little pricey but they are so much fun in their own quirky way. There is something nice about the way they feel as your hand works them into new shapes.

I would caution that my 10 year-old son had too much fun with them the first day and lost one of the balls. Since they are magnetic and small, it is almost impossible to find - although we did eventually find it stuck to a return vent...

I really like this toy! I would highly recommend this for any one who loves Transformers! I saw Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen & thought that Jetfire was Awesome, even when he combined with Optimus Prime it was awesome! He Kind of has 3 buttons, 1. on his chest, you press that down he says "I am Jetfire". 2. press the button on the back of his jet mode, he really sounds like a jet. 3. in combine mode press the hidden button he sounds completely different.. Hasbro has done a good job with the latest toys in the Transformers line. The ROTF line is no exception. These toys are awesome. Very complex for the most part and loads of fun for all ages. Leader Jetfire absolutely rocks. Nice mid-level complexity. Very good Alt Mode. The SR-71 is an awesome sight on your shelf. The paint app is wonderful (especially like the little Northrup Skunk Works logo). In Robot Mode he's pretty movie accurate. Like other reviewers have said there is lots of room for you to mod or change things to get him just the way you want him. But the cream here for me is his Combiner mode. It's great. Very "heavy" and powerful looking. It's an awesome display mode. Last thing, do not pay the scalper prices for this guy. Yeah he's kinda hard to find right now but he's out there for the normal Hasbro retail price, just keep looking.

My 6 year old daughter loves this. I thought she would have a hard time getting the pieces out but she does a great job. I don't remember it being 'easy' for me when I was a kid but maybe she has better coordination than I did or maybe the holes are a little bit bigger? It has a tray that pulls out to store the pieces in and that's a nice feature. All in all, it's easy to understand why this game has been around for so long and is still fun to play.

Great fun!,
We have given this toy as gifts and played with it with many friends and everybody has appreciated and enjoyed playing with it. We have an older version and a new one. The older one has easier words but the buttons were not labeled well. The newer version has more phrases so it is a little more difficult but the problem is that the tiny electronic screen is hard to see unless the machine is held right in front of you. This does prevent your neighbors on either side "accidentally" seeing the word or phrase. The buttons on the new one are very clearly marked so mistakes don't happen. The older one had a voice that would announce the score of each team and at the end would exclaim "team 1 (or 2) wins!". The new one just displays this information on the previously mentioned tiny screen. Overall this is a game that is well worth having at home.

Best tricycle out there,

My son received this as a gift for his 2nd birthday, and he has used it ever since. He is now 5 1/2, and can barely fit on it (he's big for his age) but still loves to ride it. Compared to other trikes out there, it is very easy to pedal and is very easy to steer. it also is relatively safer than other trikes, because it is next to impossible to tip over. My only complaint is that we've had lots of fights over who gets to ride this trike, so I wish it came in pairs!

This is a great toy. We gave it to my best friend's daughter for her 2nd birthday and she loved it instantly. There is NO design flaw. What people have trouble with is that when you screw together the wheel fork & steering wheel, the hole is only pre-drilled to a certain point. The other 3/4" you need to drill in yourself-into the plastic so that it stays secure. If it were pre-drilled all the way in, it would fall out. It's like that on purpose!

That said, the a power screw driver or drill with a screwdriver bit worked great. You also need a hammer to tap in some pieces on the wheels. It was easy to assemble.

I was a little worried about the handle height. I'm 5'8" and I could easily push it without bending over. I think people over 5'10" would have to bend down. Since the mom is going to be doing most of the pushing, and she's shorter than me, it won't be a problem. I hear the XL version of this trike has a longer handle.

It's really easy to convert from rocker to trike, and her 5-year-old cousin figured it out in under 5 minutes. The seat is adjustable to accommodate growth.

Versatile Trike, I felt the urge to review this trike, if for no other reason than to counteract the negative reviews that have nothing to do with the usefulness of the toy itself, only assembly problems. This is just the newest edition of this trike. It has been around for awhile, and the older version has plenty of reviews.

As to the assembly, having put together many toys for my 2 boys over the years, I found the assembly of this trike to be quite routine--no big deal. Probably took no more than 30 minutes.

As to the bike itself, I got it very cheap during a lightning deal. At that price, it was no-brainer. At regular price, I'd say it is still a good value. It is basically 3 bikes in one. First, it can be a rocker, where it is mounted on what would otherwise be the handle you would use to push your little one around. It is in a fixed position, and is a nice little rocker. Or you can mount the handle as a pusher/steerer, for the little ones who can't quite ride on their own yet. And last, you can remove the handle and it just becomes a regular trike for the kids to ride around on.
All in all, I am pleased with this toy, and I expect several years of good use out of it.

The manufacturer recommends the set for ages 8-108; younger engineers should be able to easily follow the diagrams for each project, but will probably require their parents to help explain how everything works. So a word of warning to parents: Brush up on your high school physics! Although the instruction offers some good information, we found that we still needed to brush up on the physics we learned years ago so we could understand concepts such as the difference between a circuit in parallel and in series.

Wow! Learning Is Fun,

My 9 year old nephew opened the box and within 5 minutes had completed 2 experiments and learned the meanings of open and closed circuits and the necessity of a complete circuit. The parts snap together. The directions are clear and easily followed. The pieces all fit. So far the favorite is the flying saucer launcher. In the past, the problem with electrical projects was the difficulty of making all the connections good at the same time. This kit eliminates that issue. My nephew was excited. The whole family was impressed. Wow!

My son got this last Christmas when he was 15 months old, and loved it immediately. He didn't "build" much with it at first (I've heard from other parents that kids don't really have the hand strength and coordination at that age) but enjoyed sorting the blocks and taking apart things that I made for him. Now, at 23 months, he is more into both building things - mostly towers or "helping" me build a house- as well as taking them apart. He likes naming all the colors of the blocks, and also puts the "car" in the garage and puts "George" (our name for the little guy) to bed in his house. I expect we'll get a lot of play out of this set for some years, though we may need to buy another set or two so he can build more complex things. then you may need to get another base plate to supplement this set. To qwell the demolition side of your kids, building towers and other structures and then crashing into them with various vehicles is also big entertainment. Additionally, this really helps children with fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and even foundations for geometry concepts!

My three year old daughter loves these blocks. I like them because they are compatable with the Lego Quatro, which have been her favorites for the last two years. They won't build the big structures you are used to building with quatro, but they have more variety to spark the imagination. I think even young children will enjoy this game. My daughter was under 4 when we started, but she loves the counting aspect of the game. It's great for number recognition skills because you make them say the number on the die outloud as they "roll." The only rule I don't like is that you need a "6" to start. Often that makes the beginning a bit slow if no one gets a 6. Once things get going, it's a lot of fun and easy to play. The thing in the middle is harder to push than it looks, so for very young children, they may not be strong enough to push it. 3-4 year olds should have no problem though and it makes a satisfying pop. A fun and easy game -- avoid if your child still puts small plastic pieces in his mouth though.

I have a hard time finding a game my daughters will both agree on. When I found Trouble, I found relief! It's one game they agree on and the whole family can get into the action. The die helped my youngest learn to recognize her numbers. What a wonderful family game. This is a fun game that's easy for little ones to play, too. It's very much like Sorry, except that instead of cards you have a dome with a die inside that you "pop" on your turn. The only problem with the game is that it isn't very sturdy. My husband compared it with the one he played as a little boy and he was disappointed. And you definitely have to keep it picked up, otherwise all the little pegs will get lost. But my kids like it and I don't mind playing it with them.

My 14 year old son constantly berides us for remaining Nintendo-free. So imagine his surprise, when at his 14th birthday party his like-minded guests discovered "Twister," declaring it an "awesome" game.

We all know this goofy game, the one that "ties you up in knots." The boomer-echo kids haven't had the same experience with these silly games, and it is a real novelty to them. The funniest photos from said birthday party show these hip kids dissolving into giggles as the pile collapses on the mat.

There is even somewhat of an educational aspect to this game. To be successful, some advance planning and spatial relations skills are helpful in avoiding the inevitable collapse. This generation of kids has not always had the same level of hands-on spatial experience we enjoyed when tearing apart items from the junk heap. "Twister" is a fun way for kids to get some of this experience for themselves. As for their parents, I move MUCH more slowly with my 40-something muscles, but it's still a blast to play with the kids!

You'll see toys that look more like "real" notebook computers on Amazon, but I trusted the consumer ratings (and liked the price) and gave this to my granddaughter for her third birthday. Reports from mom are that she's played with it practically non-stop (granddaughter, not mom) for three days and wants to take it with her wherever she goes. We're all musicians, and even mom's reviews about the functionality and tolerability of the music were positive.

Granddaughter more or less confirmed mom's favorable review by getting on the phone, reciting her ABC's ("alphabet," she corrected me), telling me that her own name starts with L, her Halloween costume starts with M (Mary Muffet), and her baby brother's starts with S (spider). This laptop comes with 30 different games, one of which shows you an upper case (or lower case) letter and the child needs to correctly push the correspoding letter. My two year old daughter absolutely loves books so I thought she would really enjoy the tag junior. My four year old daughter has the original tag (which is wonderful too!) and the younger one was always trying to get into it. I was so excited when I heard they were coming out with the junior version.

I had no problems setting it up yesterday. It took about 5 to 10 min to install and to download the audio from our PC. After it was ready to go, my two year old played with it for only a few minutes and I was a little disappointed. But I sat with her and showed her how to use it and then today she took her two books (the one it came with and I bought the Dora one also) and sat alone and played with them for a bit, about 3 or 4 separate times today. It was so cute! She loves it now! I can't wait to get more books.

Although it is built for little hands, it is still a little hard for her to hold, but I think she's getting the hang of it. The books are very short and I wish they were a bit longer, but she doesn't mind. When you click on the pictures, unlike the original tag, they say different things each time which is nice. Each picture goes through about 2 or 3 sayings before repeating the sayings.

If you are familiar with the Tag by Leapfrog the Tag Junior is the perfect companion for the younger crowd. My son is almost 3 and enjoys using his Tag junior. I had no trouble downloading the software from Leapfrog's website and getting the audio on the unit. I have even switched out the books numerous times without a hitch. I like that Leapfrog made this toy to fit his hand and to manuever the device just exactly as he naturally wants to. He really enjoys the ABC Orchestra book as well as Curious George to use with it. I just wish Leapfrog would provide more memory to store more books on the device.

I greatly enjoy playing board games with my children, but I am not a fan of games that do not require thinking. Some of the "first" games are games of chance, and they don't really stimulate their minds (or my mind). Blokus3D is just that sort of game. My 5 year old really enjoys playing, and he is getting close to beating me! We only play the "tower" configuration right now, and we have a great time. In addition to great game play, a lot of though was put into the game itself. Each of the 4 colors fits in its own opening in the plastic tray, and the game board fits on top. The game board has a nice rotating action to allow each turning of the emerging tower without knocking over all of the pieces.

My only complaint is that the pieces can be tough for little fingers to avoid accidentally knocking over. Perhaps if they were a bit heavier, or if their surfaces were slightly different, the tower would hold better. Otherwise, I am happy with the game and heartily recommend it.

My kids love these rockets. They go up amazingly high! Just make sure you're out in the middle of a large, grassy area. Aim them up, and off they go! If it's a windy day, they'll go even farther. They're lots of fun, and a good value. The only problem we've had is that one of the foam tips is starting to come off, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with glue. I'll probably buy them again next Christmas if they're being sold.

My daughter wanted this for her 11th birthday. She absolutely loves it. She has played with it nonstop for hours since getting it. I like it because it doesn't make a mess! Not alot of pieces to lose (aside from the balls, which are kept up top) but she hasn't had a problem losing them. The blower isn't the greatest, doesn't blow very hard, but she doesn't seem concerned. She has had a great time making many creations! I would recommend it for an older child though, the fine motor skills needed may be frustrating to a younger child.

Some of these negative reviews made me laugh. I bought some PixOs stuff for the first time last Christmas. My son was then 3.5 years old, and he wanted them so badly. I had my doubts, because they looked tedious to me and too old for him.

However, the PixOs stuff he received for Christmas were probably his favorite Christmas present. He did PixOs every day until I put them up where he can't reach them. I did that because, at his age, doing PixOs requires a fair bit of help from me. He does fine until he accidentally bumps the tray causing, as he puts it, a "catastrophe" and then I have to straighten it out for him. A year on, he is getting better at not bumping the trays, so catastrophes are fewer, but I still have to be ready and willing to help him when one does occur. So, I put them up so he can't do them everyday.

To answer a few of the criticisms: Yes, they do require a great deal of close, tedious work and patience. Patience from the kid and from the parent. Patience is a virtue, no? Yes, the balls will roll all over the floor. We sweep our floors, so it's not that big of a deal for us, I guess. They do require much longer drying times than is indicated in the instructions (and more spraying, too). We tried doing the amount of spraying and drying indicated in the instructions, and the things will fall apart, so we just spray them until they're quite saturated and then let them dry overnight, and we have never had a real problem with the things not sticking. You have to spray them until you can see the balls expanding and joining together--it's quite noticeable. And dry overnight. Preferably in a nice, warm place. The fan doesn't work very well--mostly it just runs through batteries, so I usually don't even bother with it.
We have made all kinds of things out of these. My son was just churning out tons of these, and so I had to find uses for them. We glue magnet strips to the back and use them as refrigerator magnets. We made some nice Pixos heart necklaces for Valentines. We strung a bunch of sea-themed ones into a mobile in my son's room. They all stick together just fine and have made some colorful decor for us. I do like them, even though it is incredibly annoying and tedious for me to fix the "catastrophes," because they encourage my very active 4.5-year-old son to sit still and sustain concentration and patience on one activity for a long time. Then he gets to experience the joy and satisfaction of knowing that the mobile in his room or the magnets on the refrigerator or whatever are totally made by him. Overall, it's been great for him, and we continue to buy new Pixos products fairly frequently.

So, the long and short of it is that if you, the parent, have some patience and the ability and desire to help your kids create interesting little projects, the product works fine. If, on the other hand, your kid is impatient, attention-challenged, disinclined to sit still, easily frustrated when the beads spill, or if you, the parent, are unable or unwilling to help your kid do this, then it's probably not for you. That isn't really a problem with the product, though--just a mismatch between the product and you/your kid's disposition.

This is such a cute toy! Sure, the plastic isn't of the highest quality, but children enjoy the set and the original retail price is very reasonable. The funhouse, which is really the base for the entire Zhu Zhu world, consists of two circular rooms and a "hallway" (or tunnel) which connects them. The tunnel has grooves on it that cause the hamster to make various sounds... doorbell/knocking sounds for the bedroom and splashing/gurgling sounds for the bathroom. The floor is printed with images of blankets, hamster food, a sink, and other such essentials. Our little one loves to pretend that she is giving the hamster a bath or tucking it into bed.

The little hamster that comes with the set, Patches, is very sweet and cuddly. She FLEW across our hardwood floor once we changed the batteries, so keep in mind that the original batteries are really for store use only, and don't be alarmed if your hamster seems a little sluggish; a new set of batteries will perk it right up. You really only need one hamster to enjoy the set, but it's hysterical to put in two or more at the same time - they'll bounce off of each other and chatter together. Best of all, a simple press to the hamster's back turns it off. Try that with a real pet!

My son got this for his 4th birthday. As soon as it was out of the package, he started playing and hasn't really stopped since. It is great for in the tub and out too. The octopus's tenticles come off, which is tons of fun for him. His does have some problems getting the pieces snapped back together, but I think with practice it will get easier. Definately recommend this. He also got another Matchbox little pirate set with the shark. I recommend the two together-makes for a lot of imaginative play.

I have played other Scene it, from the original to the one they made for Seinfeld (which is very good also)... and I always though why they have not made one for The Simpsons?

Well the wait is over and the result is great, the game is just like the others, video clips, trivia questions, etc.. normally the "name the character" and the video clip based questions are easy and if you are a big Simpsons' fan you'll know the answers right away... although some of the trivia questions are really hard, but eventually you will have fun learning more stuff about the Simpsons' background.

If you are a Simpsons fan like me, then this is a must have.

This is exactly what you would expect from Scene It with an all Simpsons theme. This game and a partnership with the Television show make for a nice combination. For avid fans of the Simpsons, the game is a little easy so perhaps you might make a rule that you need to have the entire name of a character (even the obscure ones) to get the answer right. The game on the disc looks solid and crisp and it does NOT look like something that was just thrown together. If you like the Simpsons or are huge fans, you won't be disappointed buying this.

Let me start by saying I'm not very familiar with the other "Scene It?" brand dvd/board games. So I can't say how this Simpsons edition compares to others. What I CAN tell you is that if you like casual trivia-based board games with a home video element AND you are a HUGE fan of The Simpsons, there is no doubt that you will love this game!

The concept is simple: up to four players (minimum 2) progress around the game board while answering various Simpsons trivia challenges until someone ends up in the winner circle. The game comes with a foldable game board, 4 player tokens (in the shape of Simpsons icons: the TV, the power plant, the 3-eyed fish, and a Slushie cup), two dice (1 typical 6-sided, 1 8-sided to draw a category), a big box of trivia cards, a small stack of "Buzz" cards, and a game dvd.

The way it works is this: players roll both dice to start their turn. Players move the number of spaces from the 6-sided dice and attempt the challenge indicated from the 8-sided dice. Two types of challenges are from the dvd, where either you or everyone (depending on the die roll) have to answer a trivia question from a variety of challenges before time runs out. Three other challenges come from the trivia cards, where one player reads the question to another player who has to answer before 30 seconds is up. Rolling a "Buzz" card means one must draw the card and either incur the penalty or reap the reward, depending on the card, similar to "Chance" cards in Monopoly. There is also a players choice on the 8-sided dice where the player may choose any challenge they please.

To make a long story short, this dvd/board game is a LOT of fun for anyone who fancies themselves a Simpsons trivia buff and enjoys a casual board game. The game is quick to learn and to start. There are enough challenges and questions to keep the game fresh and not repeat questions. It's fun with as little as two players and up to four. You are at liberty to adjust a few rules to your liking and still not ruin the game play, particularly to make shorter or longer games.

Finally, I must add one word of caution: THIS GAME IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR SIMPSONS FANS! If you never watch The Simpsons, this game is not for you. If you watch it every now and again when you happen to catch it on TV, this game is not for you. If you used to watch the show but haven't in a long time, it's not for you. This game is for die-hard fans who watch the show religiously, own the dvd sets, consistently recall the show, the jokes, and the quotes to themselves on almost a daily basis. If you LOVE LOVE LOVE The Simpsons and enjoy casual board games, you will really enjoy this game. You'll be pleased at the trivia you do recall while playing, and kicking yourself in the butt for not remembering things you thought you knew. This is a Simpsons game where you will feel very immersed in the Simpsons world and enjoy being there the whole time. If you are only a casual fan of The Simpsons, this game will be wasted on you.

Clue: The Office follows the same trend as most Clue games: it's a "whodunit" with the aim being to use process of elimination to determine which suspect, weapon, and location is the answer to the mystery. It plays exactly the same way as the most recent edition of Clue: there are nine weapons instead of the traditional six, and there is a deck of "Intrigue" style cards that allow players to somewhat bend the traditional rules (take another turn, roll the dice twice, peek at someone else's cards).

The graphical details of the game are faithful to The Office and highly entertaining. The weapons include the George Foreman grill, the World's Best Boss coffee mug, and a Dundee statuette; Angela's poster of babies playing saxophones is up on the wall in the Accounting room; the player cards bear quotes and pictures of several members of the cast from the show. Even the "Intrigue" cards are explained as Michael Scott's changing the rules of the game on a whim. The details seem very much in the spirit of the show, down to the premise: Michael has called in the employees of Dunder Mufflin for a mandatory Saturday team-building exercise, to determine who "murdered" Toby.

If you are a fan of the Office and you are a fan of Clue, you will love this game.

A refill pack can be purchased separately, which, we think, would be a wise investment if you want to effectively beat your enemies.

The gun also has a single-shot mode that lets you shoot with extra precision. Rather than battery powered, you have to pull back on a spring-loaded lever, and then use the trigger release lever to shoot the dart. In our experience, you can achieve a little bit more distance this way than with the auto-fire mode.

All the other reviews say this gun jams or it doesn't work and such. Those reviews lie are lies. The gun isn't messed up. The instructions are. First, put the batteries in upside down. Second, instead of feeding the bullets into the ammo box from the right, do it from the left. It is a fantastic gun. GET THE VULCAN!!!!!

I'll admit it. I'm what you might call, "a little old to be playing with children's toys." That last statement however, is beside the point. Now I'm the kind of guy who has handled many different kinds of NERF ordinance. I've shot the infamous Nite Finder, played Russian Roulete with the Maverick, and dropped many a foe with the Magazine fed Recon. Now these are all fine weapons, but they all pale in comparison to the mighty Vulcan.

When I first picked up this beast, my first thought was that it's fairly heavy with those 6, manly D-cell batteries in it and my second thought was how many poor suckers I was going to mow down with the high ROF, 25 round, belt fed machine gun.

I was right.

The first time I used this bad boy in actual NERF combat I was stunned as to how fast this thing empties its ammo so quickly. It's quite easy to hold down on the trigger and let all 25 rounds fly, but I later learned to control my trigger finger and fire in short, controlled, bursts. Needless to say, my enemies fled with terror in their eyes and didn't look back. With this thing in my hands, I was quite literally unstoppable.

My only piece of advice with this gun is to put the belt inside the case that is given to you, otherwise the gun is more prone to jamming or just having the belt fall out of the chamber all together. Follow this advice my friends, and you shall be unstoppable!

After a full busy day of play, these guns were the clear Christmas day hit. They played with them all day. Between the two guns we had no jamming issues or belt drive failures as others have reported. It is really incredible and funny to see these things raining down a h*llfire of darts down upon someone, or knocking over a tower of plastic cups.
The tripod does snap off somewhat easily, but I think it is a safety design feature-- if a kid runs with the gun and falls, you want the tripod to fall off.
The guns are quite heavy and big, but that too seems to be part of the attraction.

UPDATE: Well, it is February, and they play with these about every other day, and they are still operating fine. So I'd say there isn't a quality issue with the gun we got.

AWESOME!!! I bought this game to advance my 2nd graders from the classic SORRY! game they have always loved. This version has added an exciting twist and skill to the board that keeps them interested and certainly in great competition. They love the excitement of how much their score can change throughout the game based on how pawns slide onto the game baord and bump into other pawns. The concept of scoring was easy for them to understand yet challenging enough for keeping track of each round. They certainly enjoyed the familiarity of the SORRY concept and most excited about the variation capabilities in this set. Another feature I did not expect so much excitement from was the pawns. Every player gets 8 pawns, 4 tiny ones for scoring and 4 "sliders" with steel balls inside them. The rule is one tiny pawn to a large sliding pawn. To teach them the relation of scoring, I let them know that every big pawn has ONE "buddy" (little pawn)..and that they stick together throughout the game.
The game is very well constructed. I use alot of games in teaching and this is impressive! Don't hesitate! You're FAMILY will love this one!

My son had been begging for this game after seeing the commercials. He got it for his birthday. It is a lot of fun for the whole family. My son is 7 and my daughter 9. We all have a great time. It's very simple to learn and set up and has several different versions to play. It's like shuffle board. I would recommend this game especially if you are looking for a family game that everyone will enjoy.

Great game! Our 2 teenaged boys joined my husband and me to play and we all had a blast! It's a fun party game too since the rules are quick and easy to learn, which also makes it great for family get-togethers; kids to grandparents can play it. I bought several as gifts for nieces and nephews.

I took points off for durability only because the game would be unplayable if the cardboard tracks became bent.

I grew up on K'Nex. I'm a 23 year old male. I have two little sisters. One's a snob-nosed, arrogant high school senior (I still love her), the other's a sweet, 8-year-old. Nevertheless, the latter plays too many video games, in my opinion.
So I thought of ways to stop that. I hid the controls. She found them. I took away the cable. She complained, but I still kept it away. But I've been thinking for some time of getting her some creativity and educational toys that she can spend hours and hours with. I rummaged through my old toys and found my big ol' K'Nex box. Floods of memories and nostalgia inundated my psyche, and I hoped she would spend countless hours of pure imagination and fun with them as I did. Suffice to say, she played with them for a mere week. Looks like I had lost quite a few pieces over the years; she was limited with the amount she could build and grew bored.

I wasn't too much of a LEGO fan growing up, but I thought I'd give 'em a try. Her birthday came and went, and she's still playing with this set.
Success!
The pink box is a great way to get little girls started with the vast world of LEGOs. Be aware, though: the box isn't filled to the top with the little bricks. I'd say it's only filled about halfway, but that's fair enough in that it leaves room to store more LEGOs in the future.
There are a variety of pieces that come with this set, including a minifigure, a miniature base, garden pieces, a horse, and pieces to form a basic vehicle and house. It's a little household set, if you will.
Furthermore, since this set is geared toward girls, the colors lean to brighter, spring hues.

She hasn't really mentioned video games since getting this set, and even though the structures don't take too much time to build, she spent hours after her initial construction taking them down, and rebuilding several other, imaginative devices of her own.
I'm glad she likes them--that makes me happy. After having a couple friends over, she came down with her LEGO set and started playing in the vicinity. My mates immediately exclaimed "LEGOs!" and began reminiscing of their days rife with the little plastic bricks.

Maybe she wouldn't mind getting some more sets in future Christmases and birthdays, expanding her range of creativity and building. But I sure am glad she likes 'em!

There is nothing like seeing your kids busily playing with lego!
I highly recommend this toy. My girls play with the other lego sets but they loved the little female touches on this one- "lights" that can be used as a "chandelier" or an outside lamp post, why they made a restaurant out of theirs, creating a buffet area, kitchen, dining area using their imagination and the legos creatively! Wonderful toy!

This is an excellent, innovative doodling board that toddlers and kids love, and will give them long periods of uninterrupted fun! It lights up brightly, and one has the choice of 3 colors, although one at a time. You can use the included thin stylus pen, or your fingers for 'thicker brushstrokes'. Our 4 year old even kissed the board, and her lips imprint showed! Incidentally, it runs on 3 'AA' batteries. This is quite possibly the BEST doodle board on the market!

LOVE IT!

GloDoodle is such a fun and easy to use toy. My whole family loves to draw and trace with it. We use it to practice shapes and drawing lines, and even our signatures! It's also great to take in the car for quick and long trips, and we totally plan on taking it to Gatlinburg with us this September! It will not only help the car ride be smoother, but will come in handy if we have a rainy day and are stuck in cabin.

My son got this toy for his third birthday. Not only were he and his 18 month old sister fighting over who got to play with it next, my husband and I wanted turns, too. Besides drawing on it, which looks amazing, we write words on the board for my son to practice reading on, which is more motivating for him than, say, flash cards. It's a little tricky to erase the bottom of the board - you need to push the erase button on top and press on the screen at te bottom at the same time, but once we figured this out, no problem. The whole family really loves this toy.

My mom bought this table and I bought a Fisher Price table. The kids love the Leap Frog Table and hate the Fisher Price one. The Leap Frog one is awesome! It has two options, words or music. So for the little ones to whom words don't mean much, you can use the music reinforcement and my toddler (age 2) likes the word option now. Great for around age 8 months when they start pulling up to stand. Love Love Love this table.

My daughter can't even stand yet and she loves this toy. I usually pull her bumbo seat up to it or hold her sitting or standing while she pounds away. This toy is advised for older babies but she has been using it since 4 mos. She is now 6 mos and still can't operate all of the gadgets by herself but she sure does love to try.

My daughter just got this for her first birthday and she loves it! Everything you touch on this table makes a noise - we especially love the trombone and the banjo. As you flip the pages to the "book" in the middle of the table, the songs and the sounds change. There are lots of movable parts for the kids to play with - the slide on the trombone moves, there is a slide on the violin, the banjo has a lever to pull, there is a barrel to roll, pages of the book to turn, shapes to press, and a compartment to open. It is very colorful and very sturdy, too. I would DEFINTELY reccomend this toy!

If you are trying to break your school-ager from nightlight dependency, then this is the one. My 2nd grade son who wouldn't let me turn the lights off at bed time or close the door to his room, now insists that I do both so that he can see his good night message from Mom. He doesn't really spend a lot of time with it but its great as a "night light" comfort item. The glow lasts a while after the lights are turn off, okay I don't know exactly how long but its long enough for him to get to sleep. There is enough room for a short message from Mom for him to look at as he falls asleep. He does enjoy drawing pictures of space scenes when he does think to play with it, but even he sees this as a night light substitute.

This is a fantastic toy. It definitely works the best in the dark. It's great to use with the shapes they give you but also fun to put toys or other things on top of it. You can put your hand or foot on top of it and shine the light above your hand and it will leave your handprint on the board. It doesn't fade off quickly, if you are in the dark. I think this toy can be educational because your child can think of different ways to leave images on the board. I enjoy playing with this too. It can get wrinkled easily and the diamond thing that makes stars left a few dents on our board. You can't push down with that hard. My girls and I love this toy. I highly recommend it.

This easel is a great buy! Very sturdy and high quality as most of mellisa and doug products. Colorful, kid friendly and easy to put together. Both the writing boards and the trays are adjustable for the height of your child. It folds up easy, but stands strong. This easel DOES have a place for a paper roll!! I did not think it did by the amazon description (I almost bought a more expensive one for the paper roll but decided to go with this and am so glad I did) ... the roll goes in the center between the boards and the paper comes up through the top and under a paper guide in front of the dry erase side. I can't image why you would spend more on another brand of easel, this one has everything I could think of wanting and is simple, solid wood, looks good and is super functional. This is the first review I have written, but wanted to pass on how happy I am with this product.

I bought this easel as part of the classroom I set up for my preschooler. I love the adjustable size, durability and ease of use. My only complaint was the chalkboard. Though I followed the priming instructions diligently, I found that even the good chalk scratched the board and did not write well. Melissa and Doug did reply immediately to my concern and were willing to do whatever necessary to correct the problem. On a whim, I decided to try some chalkboard paint instead. It now writes beautifully, and I love the black chalkboard, rather than the green it came as. It is perfect.

This easel works very well and is easy to put together, but is also much better looking than others I have seen for a comparable price. We gave this to my daughter at 20 months (younger than the suggested age) and she loved it right away. However, even at the lowest setting she can't draw to the top, which frustrated her unless she stood on a step stool -- guess that's why it's better for age 3+.

This is a very good toy for Lego collectors and for Lego fans that want to make a clone army! It comes with many clones including a special clone. With this mix of figures this makes an amazing gift!

I like these smaller sets for lego, making lego affordable for kids who buy their own toys. This has the clone walker, four clone troopers and weapons.

It was pretty easy to put together. It has stayed together very well and who doesn't love extra lego dudes.

Our whole family played this game for three straight nights over the Thanksgiving holidays. We had 6 to 9 players at different times from age 7 through their parents and the grandparents. Everyone enjoyed all aspects of the game. It becomes very engrossing and competitive. Even the
spectators enjoyed the excitement vicariously, especdally when everyone is looking for one item at once.I highly reccomend this game for all ages.
It really encourages your powers of observation. It is so cleverly drawn
that is is fun to just look at all the items and people on the boards.

My kids, 8 & 4, have been asking to play this game everyday since it came 3 days ago. My 4 year old plays with one of the adults on a "team", but is able to find alot of the items without help. It is hard to find a game that my kids are both able to play and enjoy with their age difference, and this is definetly one of them. Adults won't mind playing either. It is a great game for everyone!

My children aged 10 and 13 and their friends love this game. It is a board game that many ages as well as adults can enjoy together. Fast-paced and exciting, it encourages quick-thinking and memory skills. I highly recommend this for family game night or anytime a group of friends are over.
